If you accepted an offer to intern in Central Florida, then you can opt-in to company-sponsored housing at Flamingo Crossings Village.
Here are some things to keep in mind when deciding where to live:
- Flamingo Crossings Village houses not only Central Florida Disney Interns, but Disney College, International, and Culinary Program participants as well. These participants have unique work hours as they work in the Walt Disney World theme parks and resorts, so they may be working very late at night or very early in the morning.
- Most available units have shared bedroom/bathroom layouts. If you plan to work remotely and deal with proprietary or confidential information, or if having a private bedroom is of utmost importance to you, we recommend other housing options. We cannot guarantee private bedrooms.
- You will be required to pay an initial Program Participation Fee in full when you accept your offer. (Disney College Program participants pay in multiple payments.) A portion of this fee allows you to access housing events and activities. If you do not opt-in for housing, you will not be able to attend these events. For more details on housing fees, click here.
- Transportation is available to the Walt Disney World theme parks and resorts, Disney Springs, and grocery stores. If your work location falls outside of these stops, you will need to provide your own transportation. You may bring your own vehicle, but you will need to purchase a parking hangtag during your housing enrollment.
- Move-in day will be the Monday prior to your start date (unless there is a holiday). We cannot accommodate move-ins on any other day. Arrival days are scheduled in advance and may not match your Disney Internship dates. You will be scheduled to move in on the arrival date prior to your internship, which may be a week prior to your start date. If you are unable to arrive that day, please open a support ticket as soon as possible and let us know more details.
