As our theme parks continue deliberate and phased re-openings around the world, we’re encouraged to be on the road to recovery. We know it’s a long road and we want to be smart and responsible along the way. This includes introducing a number of new protocols with the health and safety of our Cast and Guests top of mind, and significantly reducing theme park capacity and promoting physical distancing based on guidelines of local health and government authorities.
New theme park reservation systems are being introduced to help manage our attendance, and given the significant capacity challenges we will face, Employee/Retiree complimentary admission privileges* are being updated to align with these new requirements. As we look at our quickest path to business recovery, we will be prioritizing theme park reservations for our Guests, which means it may be difficult to use complimentary admission while we manage Guest demand with our reduced capacities. Though complimentary admission opportunities will be extremely limited, the following information is what you need to know to plan a visit:
- Cast Members using any type of complimentary admission must obtain a park reservation for theme park entry in advance.
- Main Entrance Passes, One-Day Park Hopper® Guest Tickets (for Temp/Recurring Employees and Operating Participants), and Self Admissions are subject to block-out dates and theme park reservations may not be made on blocked-out dates.
- Park reservations, if available, will be very limited. To enter a park, both a park reservation and valid admission for the same park on the same date are required. Employees must use the same admission media for park entry that was used to make the theme park reservation. Park reservations and park admission are not guaranteed.
