Congratulations! You have submitted your application for a Disney Internship. Some would say that is the most difficult part, but we understand that the waiting can prove more so.
We appreciate your patience as our recruiters make their way through all applications. In order to check your application status:
- Log in to your Disney Careers account
- Go to Candidate Home. There should also be a link in your confirmation email. The Dashboard is a hub of personalized information based on your job applications. You will see your current application status, a log of recent communication that we’ve emailed you, and any phone interview invitations.
- To view your application details, go to My Applications and click on the hyperlink to your application
In general, you can expect the process to take a few months, but keep in mind that some positions may take more or less time to fill than others. Many factors play into the pace of the recruiting process, such as the start date of the position, the hiring leader’s schedule, or the workload of the recruiter.
There are four possible statuses that an application may be under throughout the application process.
Application Received – You have successfully submitted your application.
Application Under Review – You are an active candidate being reviewed by a recruiter or manager who may be having internal discussions. You may be invited to a phone screening with the recruiter. A phone screening is not a mandatory step of the process, so if you are not contacted for one, do not worry.
Interview – We would like to get to know you a bit better! Keep an eye on your email inbox for more information.
Interview Debrief – You will be in this stage until a final decisions have been made.
Each position will progress at its own pace, so you may talk to a hiring leader early on in the process, while for others, you might stay in “Application Under Review” for a bit longer. The important thing to remember is that unless your Dashboard status reads, “No Longer in Consideration,” you are still being considered for the position.
If you need to make changes to your application, please submit a ticket on our Support Site. Do not withdraw yourself as this action cannot be undone.
Please note that not every application will reach each of these statuses. As each applicant is unique and each internship is different, the process may vary in timing. No matter the applicant or the position, we will do our best to notify you of any updates to your application status. These updates are usually sent by email as well as Dashboard communication.
